What is your research interest?

I am especially interested in analytical technology development to expand the capabilities of bioanalytical experiments. One avenue I am currently exploring is the development of an ultrahigh-pressure chromatography system to improve the quality of the data that can be collected in proteomics experiments.

The Coon lab has a history of innovation in bioanalytical technologies and offers a depth of expertise to support me during my graduate career.

Why did you choose the Coon lab?

During my recruitment weekend at UW-Madison, I was very impressed by the exceptional research being conducted at the university and the supportive and encouraging relationships between researchers. The Coon lab attracted my attention due to its history of innovation in bioanalytical technologies and the variety and depth of expertise available to support me during my graduate career. The professionalism and focus exhibited by the group offers an excellent environment for me to develop as a scientist.
