Research Focus

My previous work was in a regenerative biology lab. There I realized I had more inclination toward the instrumentation and hardware we used to observe and measure biology, rather than the biology itself. I was able to utilize lab automation to achieve things experimentally that would have otherwise been impossible for a person to do by hand. This intersection of instrumentation and biology, with each advancing new developments in the other, has captured my focus.

Working on the instruments is both challenging and gratifying which keeps me motivated to continue learning more.”

Current Projects

I am currently working to build a foundation of mass spec and the adjacent technologies needed to fix and modify the instruments. Working on the instruments is both challenging and gratifying which keeps me motivated to continue learning more.
