Why UW and the Coon lab?
I came to UW because I was drawn to the caliber of scientific research conducted at the university (historically and current). It has been a rewarding experience. I began work with Dr. Coon because I am interested in the development of integrated structural biology methods that will advance biomedical research.

I specialize in advanced transmission electron microscopy (TEM) methods with an emphasis on Cryogenic-TEM approaches.
