Why the Coon lab?
I am very interested in analytical chemistry, and I found the topic of mass spectrometry especially fit my interests. In the Coon Lab, I am able to work with a team of skillful and helpful people, do meaningful research, and learn mass spectrometry techniques. The skills and techniques I learn from this lab will be a definite asset to me in my future career.

Currently Working On
I am working with my research mentor Keaton on ion-ion fragmentation reactions for mass spectrometers. I am researching optimizing the production of radical fluoranthene reagent cations for negative electron transfer dissociation.
